AURALIS comes with a free Aura Check on the AURALIS home page for buyers to check the data quality before even talking to sales. This is in our opinion the single fastest way to check out any AI visibility tool - deep and thorough. We could not find a similar free public check for Profound. The first touch point with Profound is typically a sales call.
As one of the more established platforms on the market, Profound has developed out very polished enterprise workflows around adding new vendors to your organization's procurement process, completing the necessary paperwork for vendor onboarding for things like development projects, and multi-month implementation processes. AURALIS is following a similar development path but for the time being is slightly earlier in the process.
AURALIS publishes its pricing: Starter at $29 a month, Growth at $99 and Scale at $299, with Enterprise priced per contract. You get a discount when you sign up for a year. After that, Profound would be quote enterprise style. This type of price transparency is very acceptable for big brand companies with sales teams, but for smaller teams and buyers it causes friction as it delays the ability to evaluate out a product from within the price of a sales cycle.
I can see AURALIS and Profound both extracting citations from within your AI generated answers. I can expose your citation 'data' in a raw CSV format for your citing purposes. In the rows are: Domain Authority & URL - Sentiment & more - Prompt & more for your out reach / SEO follow-up activities. That information is surfaced within the AURALIS various dashboards as well however - Auralis provides much more open ended exportable information. On the Profound side - Similar data exists within their system as dashboards however export is not as freely available.
Both tools support multi-tenant workspaces for managing ten or more clients. AURALIS has white-label support on the Scale tier while Profound includes white-label on the enterprise tier. Compare on price ceiling.
