Trakkr.ai and AURALIS are two tools that track AI visibility. One main difference is the coverage depth as well as the way they extract citations from papers. More importantly, they serve two different team profiles.
| AURALIS | Trakkr.ai | |
|---|---|---|
| AI engines covered | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity (all 4 deep) | ChatGPT and Gemini primary, others partial |
| Free public tier | Yes - Aura Check | Trial only |
| Starting price | 29 USD per month | Budget friendly |
| Verbatim answer logs | Default | Partial |
| Citation depth | Full citation map with DA and sentiment | Citation list, light enrichment |
| Competitor benchmark | Up to 20 on Scale | Basic |
| Content engine | Built in (press, blog, infographic) | Not included |
AURALIS is a full answer-economy platform, not just a visibility tracker. The Content Engine is included in the shipment of the platform and you can act on the data without ever having to leave the workspace where you got it. In contrast, Trakkr.ai is purely a visibility tracker. That is a much smaller surface area but also a much thinner playbook to operate in when things break.
Trakkr.ai is very simple and therefore it's ok for very lightweight tracking of performance of ChatGPT and Gemini. The interface is simple to use, the price is very low and therefore for a small in-house team without a full content production line it's enough to get started with.
Half of the work of tracking and citation generation is done when tracking is completed. The rest of the press release, blog post, infographic and outreaching to garner more citation shares for you to reference, can be bundled into one program, the AURALIS or completed with Trakkr and split between two different programs. It all depends on how you work best and if you prefer to use one program or two.
